The Berceuse of Nature

The waterfalls continue to crescendo

blocking the crunch of the leaves,

the symphonies of the birds

that could not decide which tree

belongs to them.

At least they were all allegro

ready to swoop into the skies.

There is a battle between them

as they dive to another tree branch.

Poco a poco the trees vanish.

The dazzling lights of the city approaches,

the orchestra of nature diminuendos immediately.
